Millennium is a mid-late season hybrid that thrives in temperate and cool growing environments. Unrivaled longevity in field situations. Yields are high with a significant proportion of production later in the season. Thought to be best adapted to heavier soils, but results from growers indicate success with a wide range of soil types. Including sandy soil.
Our crowns are 100% male. Plants will produce a light harvest in the 2nd year, a larger harvest the 3rd year, and a full harvest in subsequent years.
How many do you need to feed your family? It depends on how many people in your family like asparagus. 5-10 plants per person is a general rule of thumb.
