Description

Common Name: Glory of the Snow, Chionodoxa forbesii ‘Pink Giant’

Chionodoxa forbesii ‘Pink Giant’ has pink, star-shaped blooms with a paler centre. It’s a great choice for naturalising in lawns, particularly beneath trees, where they can flower in full sun before the tree leaf canopy develops, creating shade.

Glory of the Snow provide much needed colour in the early spring garden. Easily grown and will naturalize over time to form a early spring carpet of colour. Glory of the snow is among the first of the spring bulbs to bloom. Plant in average soil that is well drained in full sun to light shade.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds to much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
