Description

Common Name: Montbretia ‘George Davidson’

Clump forming with long arching stems of bright yellow flowers, excellent for late summer colour. The yellow-orange blooms can reach up to 2.5′ tall and spread to fill a roughly equal area. Montbretia ‘George Davidson’ can reach larger spreads in ideal growing conditions.

One of the earliest montbretias to bloom, the flowering period lasts from mid to late summer. Very attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators. This selection also makes an excellent cut flower.
