Common Name: Cactus Dahlia

This dark red, semi-cactus type dahlia makes quite the show in both the garden or in a boquet. The deep red, spiky petals of the 6″ wide blooms are sure to turn heads. Black Narcissus will give a punch of unique color and unusual style to midsummer gardens,  

 These flowers are perfect for arrangements. Decorative dahlias produce more, but smaller blooms than their Dinnerplate cousins.

Dahlias are native to Mexico and are members of the Asteraceae. Garden relatives include the sunflower, daisy, chrysanthemum, and zinnia.  need to dig up and store the tubers before the first hard frost if you wish to grow year after year.
