Common Name: Dinner Plate Dahlia

 Café au Lait is one of the most popular and sought after Dahlia cultivars in recent years! Ranging in color from a very light blush pink/peach to a cream, Cafe au Lait is usually darker towards the center and fade to an elegant, pale shade towards the outside. A top choice for brides and florists. The flowers also make exceptional cut flowers for the vase and will stand out in any bouquet.  Larger flowering Dahlias are a bit smaller than Dinner Plate Dahlias. 

Dahlias are native to Mexico and are members of the Asteraceae. Garden relatives include the sunflower, daisy, chrysanthemum, and zinnia.  need to dig up and store the tubers before the first hard frost if you wish to grow year after year.
