Common Name: Ball/Pompom Dahlia
‘Sylvia’ is an Ball Dahlia with perfect form. Warm tangerine blooms will glow in your garden, its flowers measure up to 4″ wide and are essential to summer and early fall bouquets. ‘Sylvia’ is prolific bloomer in full sun, and works well in borders, beds, and containers. Ball-shaped flowers are weather resistant and last an extremely long time in the vase. Decorative dahlias produce more, but smaller blooms than their Dinnerplate cousins.
Dahlias are native to Mexico and are members of the Asteraceae.
