Description

Common name:  Umbrella Plant, Indian rhubarb, giant cup

Grown primarily for its interesting foliage this plant should be given credit for its woderful spring blooms. An interesting waterside plant with huge round, lobed leaves that form a wide clump. Clusters of soft pink flowers appear on stalks before the leaves in early spring, and are very unusual for cutting. Native to the western USA. Must have moist soil. In hot, humid regions, choose a partly shaded site to prevent the leaves from scorching.
