Description

Common name: Old-Fashioned Bleeding Heart

A newer version of the classic perennial! ‘Cupid’ bears soft, baby pink  hearts opposed to the dark pink and white hearts. Every shade garden needs at least one bleeding heart.

Arching sprays of everyone’s favorite classic bleeding heart flower, red and white heart-shaped blooms, dangle from the stems in late spring.

This cultivar quickly grows into a dramatic clump for early spring color.

After putting on this fantastic display, Bleeding Hearts usually go dormant until the following spring. However, if plants are kept well-watered during the spring, dormancy may be delayed until late summer or early fall.
