Echinacea 'Lemon Drop'
Common Name: Coneflower 'Lemon Drop', CONE-FECTION Lemon Drop, Lemon Drop ppaf
The fully doubled, bright yellow flowers will look like a little ball of sunshine in your garden. Part of the CONE-FECTIONS(™) series, 'Lemon Drop' is great for late season interest, beginning to bloom in midsummer and continuing for months if faded flowers are regularly removed.
This plant is compact with a well-branched, strong and bushy habit. Ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers.
Praised for their cheerful brightly coloured flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in today's garden. Be sure to leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall because their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter.
