*AWARD WINNER*

Common Name: Coneflower, Mama Mia

Mama Mia features very large red-orange flowers, with the colour transitioning through designer shades from red to pink, from midsummer to fall. This echinacea has a nice big habit and long bloom time. Use en masse for the border, in a mixed bed, and as a cut flower.

Praised for their cheerful brightly colored flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in today’s garden. Be sure to leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall because their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter.

The plants we ship; In early spring when echinacea ships they often appear small but will grow quickly as they are just waking up from being dormant. They will flower in the first season if planted in early summer.
