Description
Common name: Coneflower
Newer varieties of Echinacea are packed full of perfection. This new variety presents increased basal branching, large flowers with good uniformity. Crystal white blooms are very wide, overlapping, horizontal petals with a green cone and yellow pollen. Flowers are 5″ wide and held overtop dark green foliage.
Praised for their cheerful brightly colored flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in today’s garden. Be sure to leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall because their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter.
The plants we ship; In early spring when echinacea ships they often appear small but will grow quickly as they are just waking up from being dormant. They will flower in the first season if planted in early summer.
