Crown Imperials look best when planted in groups. They are at home in full sun in rich, well-drained soil. Lutea Maxima has bright golden flowers and blooms in late spring.
Fritillarias give off a mild musky odor. Best planted away from doorways and windows.
Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds to much water.
