Common Name: Dutch Hyacinth, Hyacinthus orientalis ‘Aida’

Early-Mid Spring Bloomer with a wonderful perfume.

Hyacinths are garden classics and have been growing in European gardens since the 16th century. Hyacinths bloom in late spring and bring fragrance to the spring garden. Be sure to plant a few of  these close to a doorway or window where you can enjoy their fragrance. Hyacinths looks great when planted in colour combos. Plant in groups for best display.

Tip-  Keep dry in the summer and grow against the south side wall or foundation for years of enjoyment.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
