Description
Common name:Â Iris Dutch
Sapphire Beauty is a very traditional spring flower. Violet flowers with bright yellow stripes look great on their own or mixed with other colors. Dutch Iris blooms late spring and provide much-needed color before the summer blooms start. The strong stems on these make for great cut flower. Plant in groupings for best display. Full sun to light shade and well drained soil is best for these bulbs.Â
Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds to much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.Â
