Common Name: Siberian Iris 'Snow Queen'
'Tipped in Blue' has very unique coloring for a Siberian iris. Newer variety, released in 2010. Predominantly yellow with blue tips and dark blue veins.
Blooming in late spring to early summer'. Equally at home in the flower border, or a moist (even bog) garden.
Iris Sibirica (Siberian Iris): Tall clumping Iris with narrow upright foliage. More delicately flowered than Bearded Iris, Siberians are very adaptable and easy to grow. Generally pest free and blooms early summer. Excellent for vertical effect in the landscape.
