Description
Common Name: Shasta Daisy
This unique selection from the Real series features large flowers with three layers of greenish-yellow petals surrounding a large gold centre. Petals gradually fade to white as the flower matures. Excellent for cutting. Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the bloom time. Very floriferous with improved disease resistance. Divide plants in the spring every 2 to 3 years to maintain vigour. Shasta Daisy is a well-behaved garden hybrid, and should not be confused with the weedy Ox-eye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare).
