Common name:Â Herbaceous Peony
 ‘Old Faithful’ is a Late Midseason Peony Hybrid, double, very large flower, with good substance. Blooms are dark velvet red, the most regal of reds. Strong stems make for good cut-flower. American Peony Society Gold Medal 1997, Award of Landscape Merit 2009, (Glasscock-Falk 1964).
