Paeonia tenuifolia 'Rubra Flora Plena' 2-3 eyes

Common name: Fern Leaf  Peony

  'Rubra Flora Plena' is a very special and unique specimen, a must for the perennial collector, forming a low, bushy mound of very finely divided green leaves, bearing small double crimson-red flowers that seem to float above the foliage. Perfect for edging or in a sunny rock garden. Flowers appear earlier than the more common hybrid Garden Peonies. Plants may go summer dormant in warm regions, especially the first season or two. This species will bloom a few weeks earlier than other garden peonies.
