Description
Common Name: Summer Bell’s, Sicilian Honey Lily ‘Bulgaricum’, Nectaroscordum siculum var. bulgaricum
These creamy, bell-shaped blooms tinged green and pink hang from baseball-sized flowerheads, and the gray-green leaves take on interesting spiral twists. The papery, tan seedpods turn upwards as they mature. Blooms Late Spring to Early Summer and will self sow.
Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
