Common Name: Persian Onion, Ornamental Onion ‘Ivory Queen’, Allium karataviense

Ivory Queen Allium brightens the late spring garden with spheres of muted pink and ivory florets over wide gray-green leaves. This variety is relatively short for Alliums, so they make for a lovely choice for containers or layered with other bulbs to add a playful surprise.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
