Allium nigrum bears pretty cream-white semi-globular white flower heads with a central green eye, over tall, sturdy stems, in late spring to early summer.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
