Common Name: Persian Onion, Ornamental Onion ‘Silver Spring’
Star-shaped creamy white blossoms with deep rose pink eyes form tight clusters of 4” celestial globes. Sweetly fragrant like licorice, these tall flowers are adored by beneficial pollinators in Late Spring and Early Summer.
Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
