Amber Sweet Goji® cultivar’s fruit has a unique amber colour that are bigger and sweet compared to species varieties. Flowers are mauve from June-Sept and fruit ripen from late summer to fall. The fruit can be eaten fresh or dried or they may be added to various foods or drinks. Fructification starts 2 years after planting. The plant is undemanding and will even grow even in poor soil, preferring sunny areas. The maximum height is 2-2.5 m. The shoots can be trained like the climbing rose over supports, e.g. trellises, or left without support to arch gently. Pruning is not required.
