Description

Common Name: Spanish Marigold, Windflower, Crown Windflower ‘Blue Poppy’

Anemone coronaria ‘Blue Poppy’ showcases satiny, violet-blue, poppy-like flowers affixed with a dark button center. This variety blooms in mid to late spring and can last up to a month after they appear. The stems are sturdy and rise above the clumps of fern-like leaves to present the flowers for the butterflies they attract. Wonderful, cut flowers that look dramatic in the garden or in a fresh bouquet.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
