Description
Common Name: Pigsqueak, Elephant’s Ears
The shiny, evergreen, cabbage-like leaves of Bergenia have a unique leathery appearance that is really eye-catching. This plant gets its common name, “Pig Squeak”, from the sound the leaf makes when rubbed between two fingers.
‘Pink Dragonfly’ has narrow leaves with intense fall color of the leaves. In late spring coral pink blooms rise above the colorful foliage and provide great contrast in the garden. In late spring/early summer new, dark green leaves will form. Bernina is one of the easiest perennials to grow!
