Common Name: Indian Hyacinth ‘Blue Melody’
Attractive clumps of grass like leaves with tall spikes of medium purple/blue will form in late spring. Will form substantive clumps. Camassia likes moist fertile soil. be sure to plant bulbs 5.0″ deep and cover with mulch for zones below 6. Plant in groups for best display. Full sun is best, but it will tolerate light shade. Blooms in Early Summer.
Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
