Common name: Clematis Vine
A cross between Capitaine Thuilleaux and Blue Ravine. The vanilla fragrance is quite unique for a large-flowered Clematis. The Clear white star-shaped 6-8″ (16-20cm) flowers with striking red-tipped stamens bloom in late spring and again in early autumn. Mature height is 6-9′ (2-3m). Great for growing in pots where winters permit. Pruning group B1.
