 Corydalis are very easy to grow In many garden settings. They do prefer shade of part shade and flower early to mid spring. Purple Bird is a new variety and much darker than other. These plants are tidy, well behaved and will form a clump. Those foliage is finely cut and will completely disappear by late spring/early summer.Â
 Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds to much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.Â
