Description
Common Name: ‘Hobbit’ Jade
This beautiful Crassula has green tubed leaves with bright red tips. It is a monstrose (abnormal or distorted) version of Crassula ovata. It does well planted in containers.
‘Hobbit’ is vera sensitive to over-watering, so err on the side of under-watering this species. It grows well as part of a low light succulent garden. Watch for white to pale pink flowers in the Spring.

Flower Description: The tips of the green tubular leaves turn red when in full sun. You can look forward to light pink or white star-shaped flowers.
Light Requirement: Full Sun to Partial Shade.
Soil Type: Plant in well-drained soil with compost added. A layer of pebbles and sand at the bottom will help with drainage and prevent rot from forming.
