Common Name: Border Carnation, ppaf, Garden Pinks

Dark red single flowers appear in spring and then again in summer with a spicy fragrance. Foliage is silver-blue with a tidy dense habit. A great choice for borders and tolerant of drought and frost.

Dianthus (Garden Pinks) are low growing or mat forming plants that have tremendous spring bloom. Use near the front of the border or in rock gardens.
