Description
Common name: Coneflower
‘Rainbow Marcella’ is the latest addition to our popular Butterfly™ series. Incredibly hardy and long-lasting, this new selection will be the highlight of gardens around the world. This petite plant will be covered with single petaled flowers the color of orange sherbet. Each bloom ages to a soft, raspberry pink and remains colorful until a cold winter frost.
Praised for their cheerful brightly colored flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in today’s garden. Be sure to leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall as their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads will provide architectural interest in the winter.
