Common name: Cider Gum ‘Blue Ice’ 

A cultivar of Cider Gum, which has always made an attractive ornamental tree, ‘Blue Ice’ differs by having much bluer leaves. The juvenile foliage can be used for fresh or dried flower arranging.

Cider Gum produces a sweet sap which can be tapped in a similar way to maple syrup. 

A good hardy variety also for hedging, wind breaks, screening which will tolerate poor drainage. This must be a favourite for many Euc lovers!

Ornamental Details: Plant habit has appressed  upper branches with dense crown. Bark is light grey, peeing to reveal brown patches. 

Juvenile leaves are grey-blue.                         
Adult leaves are non glossy, grey-blue to blue-green.

White, fluffy flowers appear in late winter/early spring. 

Light Requirement: Full Sun. 

Soil Type: Prefer well-draining soil with light moisture.
