Description

Common name: Checkered lily

 One of the smallest Fritillaria varieties. Each stem has up to 5 flowers, flowers are wine red and tipped with yellow. Plant in a somewhat shady area with well drained soil. 

 Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds to much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
