Common Name: Dutch Iris ‘Eye of the Tiger’

Distinctive ‘Eye of the Tiger’ Dutch Iris exhibit unique purple and maroon flowers with yellow accents that make it an outstanding contrast in any sunny garden. Plant in masses and use them as cut flowers. Early Summer bloom.

Dutch Iris blooms Late Spring or Early Summer and provides much-needed colour before the summer blooms start. The strong stems on these make for great cut flower. Plant in groupings for best display.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if the soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
