Common name: Lewisia longipetala ‘Little Peach’

Lewisia is a treasured rock garden plants and natives to western North America. Lewisia forms low, fleshy rosettes of tough evergreen leaves, bearing large star-shaped flowers in late spring and early summer.  ‘Little Peach’ bears large star-shaped flowers of lovely apricot-peach, kissed with soft yellow. Best in a cool rock garden setting, with excellent drainage. Sure death is to try and grow Lewisia in average border conditions. Drought tolerant once established.

’Little Peach’ packs a big, double punch in the bloom category, being one of the heaviest blooming varieties of the species. Expect prolific blooms mid-spring and again in late summer.
