Description
Common Name: Grape Muscari ‘Paradoxum’, Muscari paradoxum
Dense bicolour spikes of deep blue-purple florets are a brilliant shade of turquoise before they open. The blossoms begin opening from bottom to top. The two-tone effect and conical shape have made this variety a favourite since the late 1800s. Muscari is very easy to grow and will naturalize over time. Mid Spring blooms.
Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
