Common Name: ‘Lord Cavin’ Herbaceous Hybrid Peony
‘Lord Cavin’ is a real oddity. The double blooms are not clean white but have striking red stripes and marks spread all over the petals. The flowers are not very consistent and the degree of doubling as well as the red markings can vary greatly from flower to flower and from year to year. Compared to bright colored ones or pristine whites, the blooms of this peony may come across as a bit dirty. (Klehm not registered).
