Large, lacy flower clusters appear in early summer, and if pollinated, you’ll get a crop of purple-black fruit in autumn. This versatile plant can be grown as a small tree or large shrub – it even plays nice in a perennial garden if it is cut back each year for a handsome spray of bright foliage.

Flower Description: Fragrant lacy flowers appear in spring a gorgeous white and are large and striking against a variegated foliage through summer. By fall, pollinated flowers will produce a crop of small purple-black berries.
Note: To produce berries, you’ll need a Black Lace®, Black Beauty®, or Laced Up® elderberry as a pollinator.
Light Requirement: Full Sun to Partial Sun. Best flower in full sun.
Soil Type: Adaptable and prefers well-drained, moist to average soil. Will tolerate dry soils.
