Common name: Double Peony Tulip, ‘Amazing Grace’
These luxurious, fully-double tulips are sturdy, and the early-risers can last all spring; although, in some areas it may be shy and show its amazing petals only after many others have finished up. Tulip ‘Amazing Grace’ has rose-like flowers that just seem to open and open atop tall stems that make them well suited for cut flowers. They’ll certainly provide grace and mid spring colour to any room.
This bright pink tulip is lightly fragrant and attracts bees and butterflies. Double tulips have large long-lasting blooms that are excellent cut flowers. Double tulips are often called peony tulips.
Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds to much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
