Description

Common Name: Mini Botanical Tulip ‘Pulchella Eastern Star’

Each flower of this early to mid spring blooming variety is made up of bright pink petals with lemon yellow centres and when planted en masse they really stand out, year after year.

Botanical tulips are what tulips used to look like and still look like in the wild. They are smaller in bulb size, height, and flower size than your standard spring tulips but they are just as colourful and perhaps a little bit more sophisticated. They look more like sparkling jewels than a big brash boisterous flower.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
