Common Name: Hardy Aster, Fall Aster, New England Aster

 ‘Grape Crush’  is a brand new, very refined aster that is suited to all garden spaces. This cultivar produces a large, very round mound with densely packed flowers.  Very rich, dark purple flowers are produced above dark green foliage in early fall to midfall. A perfect finale to the growing season!

Asters are native to North America and are generally very easy to grow.

Due to their naturally compact habit, they are terrific in containers or near the front to middle of the border.  They do not require any human intervention to maintain their neat habit and they have a long shelf life.

Asters are excellent cut flowers and attract butterflies. They make a terrific accent to fall blooming grasses and the changing colors of the trees. They are native to North America and are generally very easy to grow.
