Asao is one of the earliest pink Clematis to flower. Large 6-8″ bright rosy-pink to carmine will cover the plant in May-June and again later in the season for a second flush. Asao’s first flush of blooms have a great chance of being semi-double blooms, its second flush consists mostly of single blooms. Mature height 6-9′ (2-3m). Pruning group B1.
