Description
Common name: Ioth PeonyÂ
First Arrival is one of the earliest Itohs to bloom in our garden. Considered by many to be one of the finest Itohs, this is hard because we love all peonies. Huge blooms that are up 8′ across with the finest amethyst pink we have seen in an Itoh.Â
Once planted roots will be a 4″ layer of mulch over them to avoid the frost heaving them out of the ground. We suggest using bark mulch, straw, or wood shavings. You can remove the mulch once the ground thaws in the spring.Â
