Common Name:Â Decorative Dahlias
‘Karma Choc’ boast dark velvety, almost black blooms and equally dark foliage. ‘Karma Choc’ is a member of the Karma series and originally raised for the cut-flower trade, which accounts for its large and long-lasting flowers and very strong stems. Sturdy stems do not require staking. Great cut flower and a real eye catcher! Decorative dahlias produce more, but smaller blooms than their Dinnerplate cousins.
Dahlias are native to Mexico and are members of the Asteraceae. Garden relatives include the sunflower, daisy, chrysanthemum, and zinnia.  need to dig up and store the tubers before the first hard frost if you wish to grow year after year.
