Description
Common Name: Heather ‘Calluna vulgaris’, Scotch Heather, ‘Double Play’ Red & White
Calluna vulgaris is the hardiest species of all Heather varieties. This variety has cranberry-red flowers and white flowers that bloom simutaneously in the summer for a dramtic two-toned look. They contrast nicely with the dark green scale-like foliage.
Heather are small shrub-like evergreens with very colour full foliage and flowers. In areas with high summer temperatures, provide some filtered sun to keep plants cool and prevent them from drying out.
