Description
Common Name: ‘Gauguin’ Tree Peony. Lutea Hybrid Tree Peony
‘Gauguin’ is a tree peony with semi-double blossoms combining an impressionistic blend of orange, red, and pink tones surrounding a yellow center. Blooms occur from May to June.
Tree peonies often need to settle in for one to two years before producing blooms and, once established, will grow to mature size in five to eight years. Tree peonies typically retain their woody stems throughout the winter.
Pictures of the roots are example of the size/grade root you will receive. Our Itoh and Herbaceous peony roots are imported from the Netherlands. They are 3+ eyes. Do not be fooled by other vendors who sell smaller roots for cheaper prices.
