Description

Common Name: Wildflower Tulip, Botanical Tulip ‘Little Beauty’, Tulipa humilis

Part of the only group of tulips to show resistance to deer, ‘Little Beauty’ has rich, reddish-pink petals and a bright blue-eyed center. This vigorous, fragrant variety is a delight in the garden and looks wonderful planted in large groups.

Botanical tulips are what tulips used to look like and still look like in the wild. They are smaller in bulb size, height, and flower size than your standard spring tulips but they are just as colourful and perhaps a little bit more sophisticated. They look more like sparkling jewels than a big brash boisterous flower.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water. Add sand or grit to the bottom of the hole to improve drainage.
