Common Name: Fall Planting Garlic

Elephant garlic is milder than other garlic and more closely related to leek. Its flavour is slightly garlicy, but without the sharp, pungent bite. This variety of garlic is perfect to use if using it raw and you are looking for a mild flavour. When cooked the flavour becomes mildly sweet.

Storage –  Expect 3-6 months.

Bulbs require well drained soil. Will not perform well if soil holds too much water.
